While these floors are very durable, polished and sealed concrete surfaces will need to be resealed every few years (5 - 7) depending on the level of traffic on the floor. Other coating options are better suited for anyone trying to protect a high traffic or high stress surface that frequently experiences use of heavy equipment, spills, exposure to weather, etc. For large sized low to medium traffic volume areas, grind and sealed floors (skipping the polish step) can be a more affordable and durable option!
